The Kuwait Board of Dermatology is a five-year residency program under the umbrella of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization. Residents in this program aim to become dermatologists with a firm grasp of dermatological knowledge, research, skills, and literature.

Since its establishment in 2003, the Kuwait Board of Dermatology aimed to create competent, knowledgeable, and leading dermatologists who further contribute to the literature of dermatology and aid in health education about dermatological conditions.
